Subject: Perry Christian Church Notes

The Perry Christian Church worship hour for January 22 began with the choir singing "Fairest Lord Jesus".  The candles were lit by Danielle Johnson assisted by her father.  Pastor Todd gave the welcome and recognized Kay and Aubrey Bunge with us.
The hymn of praise was "Glorify Thy Name".  Arlen's mother is doing fine.   Gene Schlueter will be celebrating his birthday on the 24th and anyone able to join them is to call Cindy.
"A Mighty Fortress Is Our God" was the prayer hymn and the response was "Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus".  Our concerns with the morning prayer were for Dee Hurley, Sam Leake, Tim Eisele, Colton Hopke and the family of Jacquie Stuart.
A meditation for the Lord's Supper was given and the hymn was "Grace Greater Than Our Sin".  Greg Harrison gave the elder's prayer and Arlen Provancha gave the offertory prayer.  Jim Gay, Chris Johnson, David and Wyatt Lewellen served as deacons.
"The Solid Rock" was the special provided by the choir.
Alisha Eisele in her children's moment, asked the children who they would call when they needed help.  Their first response was Jesus.
Mark 1:14-20 was read by Susan Todd for Pastor's sermon, "Drawing People to Christ".  Jesus was telling his disciples to use their abilities to glorify God and become a family with God.  Be willing to share faith, love and be there for others in need.
The invitation hymn was "Jesus is Calling",  closing with "Take the Name of Jesus with You".
